Who I am...

I am a girl who loves makeup! When I was in highschool, I would day dream about working on the set of movies. Horror movies.

During my last year of Highschool, I signed up with Seneca College, in Toronto, to take a Special Effects makeup course. It was a one year part time course. I fell in love... I had finally found a way to channel my creative side.

I have always been a little 'odd'. When I was younger, I would have sleepovers and force my friends to watch horror movies with me. They would be hiding under the covers and I would be giggling... What was my favorite holiday you ask? Christmas? Nope. Valintines Day? Not a Chance....

Halloween! It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Halloween to me was a big event with a lot of preperation:
The house was always decorated on Oct 1st. Some decorations were handmade by me.
Planning and makeing the costumes.

It is still a wonder how I was even able to keep friends in the first place.

Back to my makeup course.... I learned everything from bridal makeup, high fashion/editorial to stage and some special effects. Graduating from Seneca College with honors was a very big deal compared to the C average highschool student I once was. I had finally found my calling...

I love the feeling of making others feel beauiful and confidant but showing them when done right, makeup can be more then just eyeshadow and lip gloss. It's a whole transformation from the outside as well as the inside. When comming up with a name for my busness, I had to go back to my horror roots. That is how Zombie Face was created. Zombie Face isn't just for horror; It's for beauty and creativity. For all things different.

I live in the GTA area with my husband and son. I have a Monday to Friday job and work as a freelance makeup artist.
