When He Sleeps.

Crawling over to the twin bed in the corner of the blue room as I  listen to the steady sound of a breathing. Peeking over the saftey rail I spot a little head full of blonde hair. He has tossed his covers all over the bed in an effort to get comfortable. One leg tucked under while the rest of his body is resting on top on the mangled sheets. His left arm lays streached above his head while the right is hidden under hig 'Big Puppy' stuffed dog. He take a deep breath and turns his face toward me as if greeting me in his sleep.  His name is Nathan and I am the luckest mom.
